                                                                                Project South Williamsburg is the culmination of historical research conducted by a small group of graduate students at the Pratt Institute. Collaborating with client and prominent community organization El Puente, Pratt students conducted an historical survey of themes and sites unique to the neighborhood of Southside Williamsburg in Brooklyn, New York.  This area is defined by the boundaries Grand Street to the north, Bedford Avenue to the west, South Fifth Street to the south, and Havemeyer to the east, pictured below.
